WINDOWS EXPLORER ON XP???
I have a link to it (.lnk file) under the Start/Programs menu. When I click on the .exe or on this link (from Explorer), it starts up like it should. However, when I try to access it from the Start menu, or from SPB Today Plugin tabs, or from a script that is bound to a button, it says file cannot be opened.

Why do only certain programs that show up in the Programs folder in Windows Explorer also show up in the Start Menu under "Programs?" I just moved some old programs into the Programs folder and expected to see them as Start Menu programs, but don't. Is it only programs that affect the registry that show up there?

Start Menu Programs
From the START Menu, I can go to FIND but FILES AND FOLDERS doesn't come up - just a blank! I can go into EXPLORER by right clicking on START and selecting EXPLORE, going to TOOLS and selecting FIND but nothing comes up as well. I've already beat myself up for not backing up the registry.
